The Meteor 07:30
…I see orange green and purple flames leap out of the unearthly mass of rock as it flies slowly across the horizon… Oh yes! I can see orange green and purple flames leap out of the unearthly mass of rock as it flies slowly across the horizon faster than the speed of sound and leaving a trial of smoke that fades against the setting sun rays and slyly into the consuming twilight…….Sometimes waves from outer space can dramatically enter YOUR atmosphere without warning. And if you’re not careful you can miss it, dismiss it... Don’t derecognize the vibration …Did anyone see that? I wonder, so I go home to watch the news and see what the TV thinks, and sure enough half way through the broad cast, the announcer tells us that …a meteor was seen going down over Western Virginia this evening… Recognize the wave, recognize the prophet… Decode the prophecy… But Virginia is south, and I saw the meteor heading north! Maybe there was more than one meteor……Maybe I didn’t see the meteor at all……Or maybe the absolutely, positively undeniable truth is simply, unknowable….. Recognize the wave, recognize the prophet… Decode the prophecy… “But I do know that was the first time I remember seeing an unexplainable wave that changes my life…….Because in the Fall of 1963, everything actually changed……..So many leaders, so many followers…..So much hope, and so much hatred, so many prophets!………So much love derecognized and murdered, we didn’t realize that the wave had already passed us by……..Yes I ‘m talking about that great wave of consciousness, the sixties. It’s just a memory now…………….but that memory is a powerful motivator. And the challenge is to recognize the wave, recognize the prophet…decode the prophecy……..

Did you hear that? I remember...I remember, I remember the first time I heard Jimi... Alive at the Bushnell Memorial, Hartford Connecticut 1969 I didn't know who he was...but my siblings tell me to kiss the sky... So here I am...will I ever forget this auditorium full of yuppies, in 1969 Yes here they are hundreds of carefully dressed hippie stylists... and a splash of everyone else... We take our seats and after a while you can hear this low electronic wave...I didn't even know what it was But that was my first time hearing the acid guitar prophet... Jimi Hendrix! Jimi Hendrix...Oh yeah Jimi... the lights get low and those low waves at first never got very loud... but you can hear every last note, as they pass thru everything ...and no one says a word Just the sound of Jimi, alone on the stage as the curtains rise to reveal the source of this mysterious musical power... Bathed in a hazy green light, like some gothic figure sent down from the heavens to transfigure us into another space another place...on time...I am forever changed Only I didn't realize it ...til about a year later, as I'm recovering from a serious motorcycle accident... But the prophet is gone...and the wave has already passed us by...

Fridgeo 05:44
I can feel those cool waves, remind me remind me Cold upper Mississippi AKA Minnesota on the edge of the Artic circle planetary axis shift in this time of great floods Oh yeah the water is rising... ...and the sky is falling, raining, snowing blowing down everything under the great Earth ocean, GRAVITY...and so few trees to slow the rising waves I said frigid wave action feed by the hole in the ozone By air-conditioned minds lauchin rocket powered holes thru the atmosphere really believing they can live in outerspace without the Earth Or what ever science fiction you dream of...do hear what I'm sayin? Now dig what I mean As the polar caps North and South begin to melt breakup and move Oh yes the water IS rising, but did you know...that frigid air masses high in the atmosphere, stratosphere, ionosphere...the Vanallen Belts you understand, frozen since the last ice age have already been unleashed on US...So you better get a grip.....better get a grip on YOUR inner atmosphere CUZ Fridgeo is the current wave and we have nothing to fear, y'dig So wig or wig not just incase y'all forgot about poverty In the Arctic Circle, cuz its cold like that

Vocables: Lead; HA LEE HA LEYA HA LAAYY AHH AHH YA HA WAYA HA WAYA HA YA HEY YO (repeat) Bridge: HAH YAH HI YAH AHH HI YAH YA AHH (repeat) HA LEE HA LEYA HA LAAYY AHH AHH YA HA WAYA HA WAYA HA YA HEY YO Back to lead and repeat number of "pushups"or repeats of the whole cycle is up to you this is not a contest song English: I'm listening to the rain come down...the essence of waves shimmering in the light and sound of that warm bubble that surrounds you no matter what the season or the reason you're in it...water will reveal things to you, wether or not you're ready to hear it...salt water, fresh water, lakes ponds, rivers, streams the veins and arteries of Mother Earth, living breathing, singing gently violently reminding us of where we come from, who we are and where we're going IF we recognize...do you recognize ME ? Do you recognize YOU? Do you recognize the times or should I say the WAVE we are presently in? ...Sometimes the signs are blinding, to fantastic to relate to, or too consuming to see thru, but dig the waves they never lie ...sometime the wave is slow and steady and sometimes it passes so fast its light years into yesterday, before we know its gone Just like a prophet, you don't know a good thing til its gone I could always see things, I just didn't know it til I saw that meteor pass before my eyes at sunset in the fall equinox....

Skip the politic and stop trippin, cuz we're all slippin into the beak of time At least that's what the Mayans tell us...you know after all this time we still go to the wisdom of "Sun Ra life everlasting...could it be? its a lover like me again...me again..." here we are still at..."after the end of the world" You already know its after the end of the world, something we all want to forget...unless you live in Haiti...or maybe you live in Palestine, or maybe you're just stuck in the slums and wreckage of Christmas past colonial dreams! ecological scenes of confusion and way too much destruction...you better ask the Awawak!.... but it might be more comfortable for you to say, Jesus of Galilee...many thousands gone... millions with no water to drink...billions in peril and trillions lost, trillions lost, trillions lost in that ILLUSION of, DEBT! So skip the politic and and stop trippin, cuz we're all slipping into the Beak of ...Time........

about

Afro Algonquin: Rocksteady Resurrection

Rocksteady Resurrection;
spring is here and a new cycle has begun...
This album is the realization of years of work that I have always wanted to release as a complete story of thought and sound.
I want to thank the Free Center of Hartford for affording me this opportunity through their Independent Artist Grant program, to finally present my work as a sonic whole that expresses thoughts and sounds that can only be fully appreciated when heard together. The Native American Art form from traditional to modern presented in a nonlinear manner without un natural boundaries.
